Our mission at Swiney Farms & Blackyard Chickenz, LLC is to create a sustainable, community-centered farming operation that promotes animal welfare, agricultural education, and food self-sufficiency. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating farm animals while providing educational opportunities for children and families through hands-on experiences with nature.
Our vision is to transform Swiney Farms & Blackyard Chickenz, LLC into a leading model of sustainable farming and community engagement in Villa Rica and beyond. We aspire to expand our operations into a thriving educational hub that serves as a family compound, egg farm, petting zoo, learning center, and media space, where the next generation can learn about agriculture, animal care, and environmental stewardship. We will also provide jobs and an unforgettable experience that will draw families to Villa Rica.

Swiney Farms & Blackyard Chickenz, LLC is a sustainable, community-centered farm operation located in Villa Rica, GA, dedicated to animal welfare, agricultural education, and food self-sufficiency. Our primary operations include Egg farm in partnership with Pete & Gerry’s, the Eggcellent Adventures Petting Zoo & Learning Center, a community garden, and a staycation rentals. Our long-term vision includes expanding into agritourism through our petting zoo, as well as providing media education and production.
A key part of this project is our nonprofit organization, Positive American Youth, which has been serving the community since 2008. With a focus on empowering children and feeding families, Positive American Youth has built strong partnerships with schools, local businesses, and community leaders. These partnerships and our years of experience will help ensure the success and impact of this project as we expand our operations and community outreach.
We are seeking partners to build necessary infrastructure, and expand our operations. This expansion will allow us to enhance our community impact, increase revenue streams, and create employment opportunities.
